Our Parent and Baby screenings are aimed at parents who've recently welcomed a new baby into their life, and who might not otherwise be able to visit the cinema. We've been given a special license from Worthing Borough Council which allows us to admit babies into age-rated screenings, so we're able to show you all of the latest blockbusters! We aim to run a Parent and Baby screening fortnightly (with the film ending in time for those for those of you who may need to do the school run afterwards), but we may not always be able to do so. Parent and Baby screenings do not run during school holidays.
During Parent and Baby screenings, we raise the lights and lower the volume, and play the subtitled version of the film. We provide a comfortable environment in which you can enjoy the film with your baby, and change or feed them whenever you need to.
Unlike our standard screenings, you may bring pushchairs, buggies or car seats into the screening. These must be kept in wheelchair spaces or against the stage the front of Screen 1, and cannot obstruct any emergency escpae routes.
No groups without a baby under the age of 1 will be admitted. Groups can be no larger than 4 adults. If other children under 16 attend, they must be accompanied by an additional adult each (up to the 4 adults total). For 15 and 18 rated films, nobody under the certificate age can attend apart from babies under 1 year of age.
Babies can be admitted into standard U, PG or 12 rated screenings, but they cannot be admitted into 15 or 18 rated films except specific Parent and Baby screenings.
