The Duke: Parent & Baby

In 1961, Kempton Bunton, a 60 year old taxi driver, stole Goya's portrait of the Duke of Wellington from the National Gallery in London. He sent ransom notes saying that he would return the painting on condition that the government invested more in care for the elderly. What happened next became the stuff of legend. An uplifting true story about a good man who set out to change the world and managed to save his marriage.

Parent & Baby Screening

Every Wednesday (excluding school holidays). Tickets are off peak prices.

Doors open at 11am - film starts at 11.30am.

For these performances, we keep the lights only slightly dimmed, the volume turned down and subtitles on screen (where available). This provides a relaxed space for you to enjoy a film, without the stress of worrying about your baby (under 1 year old) disturbing other customers.

You may take your pushchair in with you, but it will either need to be placed in a wheelchair space or either side of our stage. Pushchairs may not be placed anywhere that would block egress in a fire (e.g. aisles, walkways etc).

No entry is permitted to a group without a baby under the age of one. Groups can consist of up to 4 adults per baby. While other children can attend the screening with you (provided the film is rated U, PG or 12A), there must be one adult per child (up to the 4 adults total). Therefore the largest group could be 4 adults, 3 children and 1 baby.
